Assistant Professor, Paleoecology Research Group, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences
I am now engaged in the study of Cenozoic paleobotany. My main research interests are: taxonomy of tropical woody plants, evolution and phylogeny of angiosperm leaf architecture, plant historical biogeography and evolution of Cenozoic vegetation.
My present work: Research based on Cenozoic floras of southeastern Yunnan, northern Vietnam and modern vegetation in karst region, try to understand the geological evolution of tropical – subtropical limestone vegetation and the impacts of climate change on it.
